By downloading or using Verba you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

THE LICENCE

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Verba on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law says you may.

WHAT THE APP IS

Verba teaches Italian. It is a learning aid, not a translation service or professional advice, and its lessons, corrections and generated phrases may occasionally be wrong. Use your judgement in situations where being understood matters.

PURCHASES

Any purchase or subscription is handled by Apple, billed to your Apple ID, and governed by Apple's terms. Refunds are requested through Apple, not through us. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your Apple ID settings.

YOUR CONDUCT

Do not use the app unlawfully, do not attempt to break or overload the services it relies on, and do not use it to harass anyone.

NO WARRANTY, AND LIMITS

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

CHANGES AND ENDING

We may update the app and these terms; the date above will change when we do. You may stop using Verba at any time by deleting it.
